Transformative Leadership Opportunity

HSBC is seeking a visionary Senior Product Design Lead to spearhead the creation of exceptional customer experiences across Foreign Exchange and Payments. As a leader in our Design team, you will inspire and motivate a global team of designers to craft intuitive, delightful experiences that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence the vision, strategy, and roadmap for customer-centric design, driving innovation and elevating our products and services.
  • Champion the use of customer-centric methods, including Design Thinking, usability testing, customer journey mapping, and user research.
  • Drive all aspects of the design process, from research and ideation to creative conceptualization and execution, ensuring cohesive customer experiences.
  • Embed the use of data to inform, evaluate, and validate customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with senior product designers to identify dependencies and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a successful design team, fostering a culture of inclusivity, open innovation, and empowerment.
  • Contribute to the evolution and elevation of the Design capability within the bank.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Digital Product Design, with a portfolio of world-class projects and case studies.
  • Passion for visual and interaction design, with a track record of motivating teams to push boundaries and design innovative experiences.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and building effective relationships within Design and across the business.
  • Ability to ship high-quality experiences, leveraging data-driven design from discovery to validation.
