**Job Summary**

The Senior Manager, Risk Assurance will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the Risk and Compliance Services (RCS) Assurance plan. This includes the preparation of high-quality planning documents, working papers, and final reports. The role holder will work closely with the broader Risk, Compliance, and Security function to ensure the delivery of high-quality assurance reviews and ad-hoc assignments.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct second-line assurance reviews or other ad-hoc assignments, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Provide strong technical and managerial leadership in reviews of insurance and asset/investment management-related processes.
  • Drive data analytics efforts on assurance activities.
  • Regularly engage with business partners to stay aware of key changes and new initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging internal and external risk trends, as well as industry best practices for areas of coverage, to inform recommendations to stakeholders.

**Requirements**

  • At least 7 years of internal audit or second-line assurance experience gained at a multinational life insurance company, including data-driven auditing experience.
  • Technical skills in key insurance processes, such as Agency Sales, Claims, Underwriting, and Financial Crime (including Fraud).
  • Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, compliance, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into plain language for non-specialist audiences.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong team player.
  • Demonstrates personal initiative, strives to innovate, and builds best practices.
