Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal support to the Asia Global Markets franchise, with a focus on Equities and Client Financing Solutions desks.
  • Draft and review term sheets, transaction documentation, and materials for structured derivatives and equity-related transactions.
  • Offer strategic advice on equity-related products, initiatives, and related business matters.
  • Advise on life-cycle and extraordinary events impacting transactions and businesses.
  • Provide market insights on regulatory changes and related projects.
  • Manage external counsel when necessary.

Requirements:

  • A qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with at least 10 years of experience in an international law firm or investment bank.
  • Expertise in equity derivatives and structured products.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with business teams, clients, and external counsel.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (Chinese language skills are a plus).
