Job Description
We seek a high-calibre professional to join our Private Banking Department as an Investment Counselor. The successful candidate will focus on building close relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing expert advice and premium service, and contributing to the bank's profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver all-rounded wealth advisory services to private banking clients, supporting frontline staff in achieving business targets.
- Collaborate with product owners to stay updated on the latest wealth management solutions.
- Provide regular market and strategy updates to sales teams.
- Raise awareness among sales staff of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Effectively communicate sales propositions and investment opportunities.
Requirements
- University degree with passes in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Meet competency requirements for regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in selling investment and banking products.
- Strong sales and customer orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, with Putonghua an advantage.
