Key Responsibilities:- Assist the team leader in implementing new procedures and initiatives to improve procurement operations.
- Manage and finalize the tender process for indirect materials as necessary.
- Formulate procurement strategies tailored to specific product categories, whether for group, division, or project needs.
- Analyze and compile data on product categories, focusing on costs, supplier capabilities, quality, terms, and safety standards to facilitate negotiations.
- Research and establish a robust supply chain by networking with competitive manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with user departments or project sites to assess supplier performance, product quality, and usage for future procurement strategy evaluations.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of new initiatives, particularly in supply chain and data management.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in procurement or sourcing, with an advantage for experience in the construction sector.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is beneficial.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently while fostering a cooperative and proactive environment.
- Open-minded and a strong team leader, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues at various levels.
- Proficient in preparing tender documents, conducting technical and cost analyses, and evaluating factories and suppliers.
- Possess substantial market and product knowledge, with the ability to research trends in technology and products.
