- Conduct market research to understand supplier market trends, product alternatives, and new business models.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement category strategies and ensure alignment between business and procurement objectives.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, from market research to contracting, using Ariba e-sourcing platform.
- Provide advice to stakeholders on procurement strategies and ensure existing strategies are consistently improved and implemented.
- Monitor and control spend using SAP system, ensuring best practice cost control mechanisms are in place.
- University graduate in a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in procurement and category management.
- Ability to adapt and learn rapidly to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and basic contract law.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to inspire and build trust and respect among the Procurement and Aircraft Trading community.
- Excellent people skills, including negotiation and influence.
- Demonstrated ability to define and implement strategies.
