Fixed Income Sales Manager/Assistant (Hong Kong Branch)

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of fixed income markets and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for distributing fixed income products in the primary market and trading in the secondary market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, handling their inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Product Distribution: Distribute fixed income products in the primary market and trade in the secondary market, ensuring that clients receive the best possible investment opportunities.
  • Market and Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough market and credit analysis to generate investment and trade ideas, and compile valid information for clients.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain a global network of institutional clients, and manage the bond distribution business for overseas branches.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Handle other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Team Player: Outstanding team player with solid financial knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and confidence among clients and colleagues, highly self-motivated.
  • Education: Bachelor degree or above in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related disciplines.
  • Experience: 2-3 years experience in bond distribution and trading preferred, with institutional clients' resources referred.
  • Skills: Strong skills in computer software such as Bloomberg, MS Office (Excel / Power Point / Word).
  • Language: Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin and Cantonese.

This role will be hired under Bank of China (Hong Kong Branch).
