Key Responsibilities
1. Formulate and execute thorough liquidity risk management strategies and protocols that comply with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks.

Direct the liquidity risk management operations, which include evaluating and monitoring liquidity risk exposures, as well as identifying and quantifying liquidity risk factors and their potential effects on the organization's financial health.

3.

Perform routine stress testing, including regulator-driven stress tests and scenario analyses, to assess the organization's capacity to endure liquidity disruptions and challenging market conditions.

4.

Ensure that the organization's liquidity status is maintained within the risk appetite established by the Board, adhering to both internal policy constraints and external regulatory mandates.

Stay updated on regulatory obligations concerning liquidity risk management to guarantee compliance with relevant laws.
5. Supervise the creation and upkeep of contingency funding strategies to prepare the organization for unexpected liquidity challenges.
6.

Work in conjunction with treasury and finance departments to enhance liquidity management techniques, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity buffer oversight, and funding approaches.

7. Establish and uphold robust liquidity risk reporting systems, delivering timely and precise reports to senior leadership and regulatory authorities.
8.

Build and nurture relationships with external parties, such as regulators, auditors, and industry colleagues, to remain informed about emerging trends and best practices in liquidity risk.

9. Lead and mentor a team of liquidity risk professionals, offering guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
10.

Collaborate with other risk management divisions, such as market risk and interest rate risk, to ensure a holistic and integrated risk management strategy.

11. Keep abreast of industry advancements, regulatory updates, and new risks associated with liquidity risk management, proactively suggesting improvements.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is advantageous.
2.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, treasury, or risk management, with a focus on liquidity risk, IRRBB, and market risk.

3.

Comprehensive understanding of liquidity risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements, including LCR (Liquidity Coverage Ratio) and NSFR (Net Stable Funding Ratio). Knowledge of FRTB and IRRBB is preferred.

4.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to evaluate complex liquidity risk scenarios and devise suitable risk mitigation strategies.

5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
6. Strong leadership and communication skills, able to convey complex issues clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including Excel and risk management systems.
