Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Millennium Management, LLC. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the investment team to architect and implement systems supporting the business, including cloud-based microservices, CI/CD pipelines, data pipelines, and integration with external systems.
  • Work with specific technologies such as Python-based microservices, Airflow, GitHub, cloud-based managed services, Kubernetes, and container services.
  • Support Middle Office and Operations Tech stack, including integration with 3rd party trade capture and position management solutions.
  • Provide front-line support for these systems, as they are critical for operations.
  • Continuously innovate and suggest technologies and improvements to the overall tech stack.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience as an engineer within a Hedge Fund.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience across the full extent of the Hedge Fund tech stack.
  • Experience with managing microservices on a Kubernetes Cluster, integration with 3rd party trading systems, and managing a hybrid cloud/on-prem deployment.
  • Ability to work independently and excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ownership mentality.
  • Desire to work on a high-performing team and produce results.
