Assistant Professor Positions in Particle Physics and Cosmology

The Department of Physics is seeking applications for multiple tenure-track faculty roles at the Assistant Professor level, focusing on both experimental and theoretical physics.
The primary areas of interest include Theoretical High Energy Physics, Experimental Particle Physics, and Observational Cosmology.Applicants must hold a PhD in physics or a closely related discipline. Successful candidates will demonstrate a robust research background, with a preference for those possessing interdisciplinary expertise.
Consideration for appointments at the Associate Professor level or higher will be given to candidates with an outstanding record of research achievement and academic leadership.
In addition to establishing a dynamic research agenda, candidates are expected to contribute to effective teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
The current faculty members in the particle physics and cosmology group include distinguished professors with expertise in various subfields. The department is committed to enhancing its capabilities in this domain by recruiting additional faculty in both theoretical and experimental physics. Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary will be competitive and aligned with qualifications and experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits, including medical and dental coverage, annual leave, and housing assistance, will be provided where applicable. Initial appointments prior to tenure are typically on a three-year contract basis, with a gratuity payable upon successful contract completion.
