About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Public Relations and Communications to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Macao. As a key member of our marketing and communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR and communications plans that increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel, its restaurants, services, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR plan that aligns with the hotel's business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Generate creative content that showcases the hotel's unique experiences and amenities.
  • Manage the hotel's image and reputation through effective media relations, crisis communications, and issue management.
  • Assist with marketing and promotions to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Identify and develop integrated PR and social media programs that capitalize on unique and newsworthy stories.
  • Engage in media relations by actively managing professional relationships with local and regional media.
  • Understand the hotel's marketplace and stay informed of market trends to inform PR strategies.
  • Play a key role in reputation management and act as a strategic communications advisor to management.
  • Oversee the hotel's community relations, CSR initiatives, internal communications, and other activities specific to the hotel and its VIP guests.
  • Ensure the hotel's web presence is aligned with the hotel's positioning and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five to seven years of experience in public relations and communications.
  • A university degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with media, community, and business contacts.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a strong sense of quality and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and Chinese.
  • A self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and related monitoring tools.
  • The ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas, and follow through with pitch leads.

This is a full-time administrative position, and you will be expected to work evenings, weekends, or other times as business requires.
