About the Role

Carro, Southeast Asia's largest online automotive marketplace, is seeking an experienced Copywriter to join their Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing diverse copywriting work and a deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape.

Job Responsibilities
  • Custodian of Brand Tone : Oversee copy across all touchpoints to ensure consistency in tone and voice.
  • Paid Media and Social Posts : Develop and execute copy for paid media efforts and social posts.
  • Creative Leadership : Lead and inspire the in-house creative team to develop fresh ideas that meet business needs.
  • Simplify Complex Concepts : Take complex products and bring them to life simply while remaining engaging.
  • Collaboration with Creative Vendors : Provide creative leadership and insights to third-party creative vendors when needed.
  • Research and Strategy : Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in content.
  • Original Content Creation : Write original copy for ads and social networks.
  • Informative Articles : Prepare and publish articles describing the company and its products.
  • SEO Optimization : Use SEO practices to optimize articles and increase visibility.
  • Design Collaboration : Liaise with designers to enrich text with visual aids like images and charts.
  • Brand Language and Voice : Shape language and tone used in sales emails, banners, and brochures.
  • Content Metrics : Monitor metrics related to content, such as web traffic and conversion rates.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-4 years in a creative agency or in-house marketing team, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse copywriting work.
  • Digital Savvy: A deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Creative Passion: A flair for crafting memorable narratives; an interest in the automotive world is a bonus.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects without compromising quality.

Compensation

$80,000 - $100,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
