Our client, a leading global insurance company, is seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the Life Insurance Operation, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the end-to-end incident and problem management process for L&H business, focusing on issues related to L&H applications and auxiliary systems.
- Assist with technical investigations, impact analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve incidents swiftly.
- Coordinate activities between business functions and offshore teams to drive open action items to closure, prioritizing based on severity, impact, and urgency.
- Generate, control, and resolve incident tickets related to application failure, abnormal behavior, production batch, and file transmission, maintaining an inventory of incident logs for transparency and traceability.
- Communicate with business and technical partners on incidents as they occur, impacting business processes, system performance, or availability, and escalate critical issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including Digital/Infra, offshore development centers, and external vendors, to investigate functional and system errors.
- Conduct regular health checks of applications and continuous improvement of Life and Health systems.
- Participate in weekly and monthly production meetings with key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in life insurance application development and support, with knowledge of life operation daily procedures and different lines of insurance products.
- Familiarity with various IT platforms, especially Life and Health administrative platforms such as Ingenium, LifeAsia, and Policy administration and claims application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in integrating and recommending complex IT solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with Chinese being a must.
