About the Department
The Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a leading academic department dedicated to providing high-quality clinical services, education, and research in the field of anaesthesia and intensive care.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality clinical services in anaesthesia, including patient care and management;
- Supervising and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in anaesthesia and intensive care;
- Developing and implementing curriculum for anaesthesia and intensive care education;
- Conducting pedagogical research and contributing to the department's research initiatives;
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Department Chairperson.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A specialist medical qualification in Anaesthesia approved for specialist registration with The Medical Council of Hong Kong;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in anaesthesia;
- Undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching experience;
- A good command of spoken and written English;
- Proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua is an advantage.
