About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Development Manager to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a key member of our Commercial IT & Telecom team, you will be responsible for the development and management of our Commercial IT & Telecom products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans to penetrate target market segments, leveraging your expertise in Carrier / ISP Internet Network, MPLS Network, SD-WAN Network, Network Security, and Carrier OSS/BSS technologies.
- Lead the formulation and implementation of product development plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products that meet customer demands and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal Product Marketing teams and external vendor/service provider partners to develop and execute new product roll-out campaigns and programs.
- Manage on-going product operations, including quality assurance, cost-improvement, and product enhancement to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.
- Develop and manage end-to-end service delivery platforms, processes, skills, and tools for new product roll-out, including service provisioning, operations, management & maintenance, customer service, billing, sales/pre-sales/operations staff training, etc.
- Drive new product & business development through in-house resources or business partnerships with technology vendors or service providers.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding prescribed new product development key performance indicators (KPI's), including development time, costs, quality, and customer demand/revenue targets.
Requirements
- University Degree holder or equivalent in Information Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum of 8 years' working experience in IT or Telecom industry, with at least 2 years in product development or product management roles.
- Hands-on experience in formulation and implementation of business plans to penetrate target market segments.
- Knowledge and hands-on working experience with Carrier / ISP Internet Network, MPLS Network, SD-WAN Network, Network Security, and Carrier OSS/BSS technologies preferred.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented with good business acumen, analytical skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua).
