Job Overview

As a Lead Researcher at Bjak, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency landscape. Your expertise will inform strategic decisions, product development, and market positioning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business leaders, to ensure our offerings remain aligned with the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on blockchain technologies, trends, and their impact on the financial services sector.
  • Develop and publish comprehensive research reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Formulate original theses on blockchain trends and technologies, serving as the foundation for your research.
  • Stay abreast of key developments in the blockchain space, producing timely reports as needed.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders, including investors, developers, and professionals, to gather insights and validate research findings.
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure alignment and coherence in research outputs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and on social media platforms, enhancing Bjak's visibility and reputation in the blockchain community.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in blockchain research and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and distributed ledger technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to synthesize diverse data and insights into a coherent framework.
  • Resourceful, curious, and able to think critically and independently.
  • Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with blockchain metrics and data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience in conducting valuations and financial analysis within the blockchain space.
  • Familiarity with the global landscape for blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
