As an Assistant Manager in Operations Support, you will oversee and ensure the effective management of Paper Cheque and Electronic clearing processes, including CCASS and FINI. Your role may also involve providing cross-functional support for Payment Collection, Autopay, Account Opening, FPS, MPF, Transaction Processing, and Fixed Deposit services as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance in processing Paper and Electronic clearing, CCASS, and FINI transactions according to internal policies and local regulations.
  • Act as a checker and supervisor for transactions, verifying and reconciling documents, vouchers, and reports to maintain accuracy and adherence to service standards.
  • Monitor departmental activities and prepare regular and ad hoc management reports for senior management.
  • Lead the administration and operations within the department to guarantee compliance with established procedures.
  • Assist in regulatory and special projects as assigned.
  • Provide backup support to Operations Support teams as necessary.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A degree or higher qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably within operations focused on centralized processing and management.
  • Experience in branch operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
  • Proficient in PC applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a keen analytical mindset.
