We are seeking a highly experienced Governance and Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team at the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the Institute's governance and regulatory affairs. You will develop and implement policies and governance frameworks that ensure the Institute remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

As a key member of the Membership and Admission Department, you will report to the Director and work closely with the Council and relevant committees to develop and review the Institute's constitution, policies, and practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of policies and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with the Council and relevant committees to develop and review the Institute's constitution, policies, and practices.
  3. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and professional bodies.
  4. Oversee policy and process improvements, ensuring alignment with international best practices.
  5. Foster effective engagement with the oversight body and facilitate collaboration among specified functions.
  6. Support the Director in managing the Department, including preparing departmental reports and annual budgets.
