Job Description

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all activities in the SMC and ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Assist and guide SMC staff in handling incidents and providing technical support as needed.
  3. Design and build batch job flows that meet user requirements and facilitate the delivery of required outputs.
  4. Monitor job runs and performance to ensure applications and systems operate without issues.
  5. Perform tests on automated job flows with users based on their requests.
  6. Manage remote console access and monitor system messages and batch jobs.
  7. Log failure jobs properly in the IT Service Management system and escalate incidents to relevant support teams.
  8. Re-run failed jobs after support fixes the problem.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in IT Service Management Centres.
  • 2+ years' experience in Windows server administration (2003 and 2012).
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a team with shift duties.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows AD and cluster administration.
  • Familiarity with AIX, Linux, IBM Tivoli, IBM MQ, IBM TSM, Symantec NetBackup/Backup Exec is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Networking, Firewall, Storage, SAN Switch, Load balance, ISO, and ITIL.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
