Project Controls Specialist

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of project performance and reporting, including key performance indicators (KPIs) reporting, and providing guidance on performance and reporting to projects and the project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Reporting Lead in developing and maintaining the performance management, reporting, and benefit realisation framework.
- Implement the program reporting process, including requirements, cadence, and formats.
- Support the development and implementation of standard procedures for reporting aspects of the programme.
- Assist in coordinating the PMO functions around the reporting calendar and contractual deliverables, centralising the reporting effort to ensure the contractual commitments are delivered.
- Assist in establishing the program controls reporting requirements and formats for the programme and projects delivered by the PMCs/Supply Chain.
- Develop forms and tools for collecting project and program status information.
- Coordinate production and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Assist in establishment and maintenance of the weekly and monthly reporting calendar.
- Review and edit reports for quality, undertaking a quality review of reports and coordinating with PMCs and other reporting resources to provide feedback and improve quality.
- Develop requirements for PowerBI dashboards and work with the technical team to ensure the dashboards are delivered to requirements.
- Support the ongoing continuous enhancement of reporting, identifying opportunities for process and systems improvements.
- Organise and facilitate the PMC/Supply Chain monthly review meetings.
- Industry experience in the Construction Sector, specifically in Civil Engineering, Rail, Utilities, or Infrastructure.
- Knowledge of PMO and Project Controls service delivery in one or more sectors, including construction/delivery lifecycle and/or consultancy.
- Good knowledge of PMO and Project Controls tools, techniques, and software, including MS Office, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Demonstrable experience of innovation, knowledge capture, and establishing best practice in service delivery.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with good written English for professional reports and clear spoken English.
- Confident and social, with the ability to maintain professional relationships.
- BS degree in a Construction Management, engineering, or relevant business discipline.
- PMI-PMP, APM, or any AACE specific certification preferred.
