This position sits within Wholesale Credit and Lending, working across teams to generate optimal returns and manage risk. The ideal candidate will lead change initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and establish project governance.

Purpose
  • Influence the project approach and build stakeholder buy-in.
  • Drive project delivery, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications, and risks.
  • Manage and plan resources, responsibilities, and schedules.
  • Establish effective project controls and quality assurance processes.
  • Report progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan effectively around delivery constraints and optimize the plan to maximize benefits and minimize risk.
  2. Ensure baseline scope, requirements, benefits, schedule, and budget are managed according to Business Transformation Frameworks.
  3. Proactively monitor project execution to identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to resolve high-priority issues.
  5. Obtain buy-in from the project sponsor, Steering Committee, and other stakeholders for key project plans.
  6. Develop and review estimates and estimating assumptions for the project's schedule, effort, and cost.
  7. Provide timely reports on project status, risks, and issues.
  8. Manage and report on the project budget and risks.
  9. Maintain project change control and ensure changes are managed through change requests.
