Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment
    • Identify potential risks associated with property development projects and ascertain the impact and likelihood of various risks and the appropriate insurance strategies and coverage.
    • Keep abreast of the development in the insurance market to identify potential new providers or products that could benefit the company.
    • Review and renew insurance policies.
    • Negotiate premiums, coverage and conditions that best suit the evolving company's needs and the legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Claims Management
    • Oversee the claims process, including filing and tracking claims.
    • Negotiate with brokers or loss adjusters to resolve big loss/complex claims efficiently.
    • Analyze claims data to identify trends and work with internal business units to improve risk management strategies.
    • Collaborate with the in-house legal team to manage litigations effectively.
  • Training
    • Conduct internal training sessions to raise awareness of insurance issues and risk management practices.
