About the Role

  • This is a full-time position in the Finance and Sales department of Chubb.
  • The primary focus will be on underwriting and promoting marine insurance products, ensuring that all stakeholders receive exceptional service.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Logistics, or an equivalent field is required, as well as a minimum of one year's experience in marine insurance, shipping, or logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to determine risk acceptability according to established underwriting standards.
  • Review endorsements on existing policies and evaluate new submissions.
  • Evaluate, accept, reject, or modify risks within established underwriting guidelines.
  • Promote Chubb's coverage, products, and services to producers.
  • Assist the underwriting team with administrative matters.
