The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is seeking four research associate roles supported by the Research Talent Hub for ITF projects. These positions focus on the advancement of low-carbon green technologies, specifically in the areas of water harvesting, air purification, and biofuel production.
The selected candidates will engage in various research activities as outlined below:
- Role 1: Focus on nanomaterials, nanofabrication, and thermal and fluid engineering.
- Role 2: Concentrate on airflow dynamics and mechanics.
- Role 3: Specialize in electrospinning, air filtration, and nanofiber technology.
- Role 4: Work on catalysis and hydrogen production processes.
Applicants are required to possess a PhD in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, or a related field. The ideal candidates should demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and possess strong experimental and communication skills. Preference will be given to those with experience in material modeling and prototype development.
Contract Details:
The initial contract will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal. Compensation will be aligned with qualifications and experience, along with fringe benefits that include annual leave and medical and dental coverage.
