**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Regional IT Operations Manager to join Classy Wheeler Limited. This is a unique opportunity to lead our regional IT operations and drive business growth.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our regional IT infrastructure, including network equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • They will lead a team of technical staff to ensure the smooth operation of our services, including Telco WAN, data, voice, hosting, cloud, and internet services.
  • The role requires excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills to work effectively with local carriers, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  • The Regional IT Operations Manager will be responsible for controlling and managing operation-related costs within allocated budgets.
  • They will also cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities and negotiate with local suppliers and service providers to advance business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key liaison between Classy Wheeler Limited and local regulators on operational and technical aspects of business licenses.
  • Operate and maintain multiple network platforms, including SW-defined networks, WAN, data, wireless, hosting, cloud, security, and internet services.
  • Lead major customer service delivery projects for timely and successful completion.
  • Assist in implementing pure domestic access networks for customers.
  • Ensure network equipment, systems, infrastructure links, and POP facilities are well maintained and operating at optimum levels.
  • Oversee and ensure the hosting service quality and its operations meet ISO27001 standards.
  • Work with local carrier providers to ensure local circuits are provisioned on time.
  • Track and monitor critical timelines related to ordering, provisioning, testing, and commissioning of local circuits.
  • Conduct investigations with local carrier providers to improve fault restoration targets.
  • Engage local carrier service providers in monthly operations reviews to ensure service level targets are consistently achieved.
  • Support HQ in planning and installing new network nodes and backhaul links.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of all network resources and assets in manned and unmanned POP sites.
  • Develop and document procedures to achieve continuous improvement in operation efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality of service.
  • Provide training programs and career development for operation staff to ensure they upgrade their skills continuously.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic/Telecommunication/ICT or equivalent.
  • CCNA certification, JUNOC technical certification, or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Resourceful, innovative, and independent worker with high customer service focus and engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of network topology is required, as well as good leadership, teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and local native language.
  • Minimum 5-6 years related working experience in the telecommunication service industry.

Classy Wheeler Limited offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
