Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions, as well as supporting our business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Daily and Monthly Closing Processes: Ensure that daily work and financial transactions are free from errors and delivered on time.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable: Responsible for accounts receivable and payable function and some of the general ledger entries.
- Reconciliation: Ensure that the appropriate accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and that the reconciliations are at the appropriate level of detail and tie to the financial statement.
- Statutory Audit: Participate in the statutory audit and work closely with auditors to complete the annual audit and other tasks required.
- Financial Reporting: Responsible for budget and forecast preparation and reporting.
- Data Accuracy: Work closely with the operation team, all subsidiaries, and all SSC teams to ensure the correctness of data.
- Ad Hoc Assignments: Support daily accounting duty and perform ad hoc assignments from time to time as assigned by the supervisor.
- Education: Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent is preferred.
- Qualifications: Qualified Accountant is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in retail industry.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office, previous exposure in D365 and Hyperion is preferred.
- Language: Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Personal Qualities: Fast and Efficient, Good supervisory and communication skill, independent, well organized, detailed oriented as well as a good team player.
- Work Style: Responsible and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
