Position Overview

Role: Executive Officer II (also known as 'Assistant Manager')
The appointee will report directly to the Administrative Head and collaborate with Assistant Registrars within the Graduate School. This role involves close interaction with academic departments and various stakeholders to maintain consistent policies and uphold quality standards across postgraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across several areas, including but not limited to:
1. Processing admission applications and managing student registration systems, ensuring their ongoing maintenance and improvement.
2. Monitoring compliance with academic standards, policies, and regulations in partnership with academic units.
3. Overseeing student records and addressing a variety of academic issues.
4. Coordinating course planning and scheduling of classes.
5. Compiling and preparing statistical reports.
6. Offering support to various committees.
7. Assisting with special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:
Applicants should possess:
(i) A Bachelor's degree;
(ii) Fulfillment of the English language proficiency requirements as outlined on the official website;
(iii) A minimum of 3 years of relevant executive experience, ideally with a background in program administration and committee support within higher education institutions;
(iv) Proficiency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(v) Strong analytical and IT capabilities;
(vi) Excellent communication and organizational skills;
(vii) A high level of responsibility and self-motivation;
(viii) The ability to independently manage multiple projects;
(ix) A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
(x) A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a solid sense of accountability.

Employment Terms:
The initial appointment will be on a 2-year contract basis, with a gratuity upon contract completion, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
