Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Management Director to join our team at Value Partners Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing investment portfolios and leading our portfolio development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the investment team to work closely with sales, product development, and marketing teams to develop business.
  • Actively engage with the Investment Management Team to ensure alignment of content to our house view, corporate standards, and industry regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong portfolio, investment process, and market knowledge, present and meet with investors in various sales channels, including intermediary, consultant, institutional, and direct clients.
  • Provide routine in-depth updates for internal stakeholders on portfolio strategies, sector insight, and market outlook.
  • Prepare routine portfolio analysis, commentaries, marketing contents, client/product presentation/reports, respond to ad-hoc client requests and enquiries.
  • Maintain and articulate our investment process and portfolio strategies.
  • Involve in RFI on investment-related topics, create bespoke model portfolios, risk/reward simulation, and risk factor sensitivity analysis, etc.
  • Handle ad-hoc investment team-related projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, and other related disciplines.
  • 7+ years of working experience in the financial industry, with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong investment and market knowledge, skilled at synthesizing information from multiple sources and developing compelling investment stories.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate portfolio and investment contents effectively to diverse audiences with varying degrees of investment expertise.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A good team player with strong initiative, collaborate partner across different teams and locations.
  • Exceptional written skills and strong communication in both English and Mandarin.
  • Occasional travel might be required.
  • CFA holders are preferred.
