Role Overview: As a Senior Manager of Projects, you will lead a team of business analysts to drive, manage, and support various initiatives from Customer Operations and other departments, ensuring successful implementation and delivery in line with established standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initiation to the management of any post-implementation challenges.
  • Define and maintain the project roadmap in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Manage the backlog of change requests and negotiate shifting priorities with the user community.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and follow up with team members to address business, operational, and technical issues.
  • Monitor project challenges to ensure timely resolutions with minimal impact on progress.
  • Review project implementation documents from the user's perspective to ensure the effective functioning of all related operational systems and workflows.
  • Generate comprehensive progress reports to keep senior management informed of project status, major risks, issues, scope changes, resource adjustments, and milestone achievements or setbacks.

Communication and Promotion: Develop and execute a communication and promotion strategy to enhance the usage of various digital platforms. Regularly review campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and determine whether to extend campaigns to drive greater engagement.

Strategic Analysis: Anticipate and identify potential challenges and emerging business opportunities within Customer Operations through project management, trend analysis, and data insights. Recommend actionable solutions to Senior Management and drive changes while suggesting best practices for continuous improvement.

Team Management: Maximize the contributions of each team member through clear assessments and effective resource mobilization. Prioritize tasks based on current information and practical needs to ensure quality outcomes in accordance with the agreed project schedule. Foster continuous staff development and growth opportunities.

Daily Management: Manage the team on a daily basis and resolve issues escalated by team members.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in any discipline is preferred, with a focus on Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the delivery of scalable projects.
  • Strong experience in UI/UX and testing/quality assurance.
  • Proficient in preparing executive reports and effectively communicating information to top management.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese is essential; Mandarin proficiency is a plus).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, and Visio.
  • Experience with data analysis tools is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver results.
  • Exceptional people management skills with a strong desire to lead by example.
