About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our Consult business, you will be responsible for delivering non-project related roles, including business reporting, pipeline management, bid leadership, business development, resourcing, commercial strategy, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the delivery of non-project related roles, including business reporting, pipeline management, bid leadership, business development, resourcing, commercial strategy, and contract management.
  • Member of Sector, CoE, and/or Regional senior leadership team (SLT), undertaking a broader role than the account/programme that they lead, driving business priorities.
  • Aligns to business strategy to place construction to production, digital, and data, service excellence, quality, assurance, and sustainability as business focus.
  • Oversees the CRM (Client Relationship Management) plan of a (key) strategic client.
  • Manages large internal teams (multi-disciplinary), including providing leadership, line management, and guidance to other leadership roles (Associate Directors).
  • Responsible for succession planning for programme.
  • Networks across the business (Construct and Consult and Group) and gains support for the account/programme when needed.
  • Responsible for Service Quality within area and is point of escalation for the team, client, and partners.
  • Has a deep knowledge of a particular client/sector/service/technical aspect of their role that sets them apart from others and makes them difficult to replace.
  • Ensures the successful delivery of the programme in line with all stakeholders' expectations, communicating strategies to the wider client/consultant/contractor team.
  • Focused on delivering programme benefits and outcomes.
  • Oversees project timeframes and programme/sub-programme budgets, and ensures budgets are managed diligently and highlights any risks, challenges, and mitigations.
  • Manages, influences, and negotiates with key senior external stakeholders (up to c-suite).
  • Delivers continuous improvements in processes through application of best practices and lessons learned. Drives transformational change.
  • Promotes Mace's value of Safety First, exhibiting visible safety behaviours, sharing lessons learned, and using safety moments, safety tours, and Mace's HSW framework. Supports the safety and wellbeing of all Mace staff.
  • Actively drives collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in project delivery.
  • Typically is a formal member of the (Sector/Country) senior leadership team (SLT).
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
