Job Title: Technical Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a Technical Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our data centre and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Daily Operational Support: You will be responsible for providing daily operational support in our data centres, ensuring that all systems and applications are running smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Troubleshooting and Quality Management: You will perform 1st level of troubleshooting and reliable and quality tape management to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  3. Monitoring and Maintenance: You will monitor all network, system and application closely to identify and resolve any potential issues before they become major problems.
  4. Development Projects: You will be involved in development projects, including tools automation, data analytic projects, and other initiatives to improve our data centre and infrastructure operations.

Technical Analyst (Infrastructure):

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Enterprise Office Intelligence Solution Design: You will participate in the design, solution, and software development of enterprise office intelligence solutions.
  2. Research and Evaluation: You will research and evaluate new technologies on different office intelligence solutions to ensure that we are using the most effective and efficient tools.
  3. User-Centred Design: You will interact directly with users through user-centred design techniques, including observational research, interviews, and concept testing to uncover needs, learn about user behavior, and explore design concepts.
  4. Design Concepts and Prototypes: You will translate visionary ideas or requirements into thoughtful and compelling design concepts and work with team members to mock up both low and high-fidelity prototypes and implement solutions for different business users globally.
  5. Server and Desktop Solution Research: You will participate in server and desktop solution research and development to ensure that our infrastructure is always up-to-date and efficient.
  6. Infrastructure Services Design and Implementation: You will participate in architectural design and implementation of infrastructure services to ensure that our infrastructure is always running smoothly and efficiently.
  7. 2nd Tier Technical Support: You will provide 2nd tier technical support of infrastructure server platform to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Technical Analyst (Linux):

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Enterprise Linux Systems Support: You will be a core member of our Platform Solution team in supporting Enterprise Linux Systems on VMware, OpenStack, and Hadoop Infrastructures.
  2. System Management and Automation: You will facilitate, evaluate, and implement efficient and scalable system management and automation tools to support our Enterprise Applications on Linux platforms.
  3. Enterprise System Implementation: You will participate in our most challenging projects of Enterprise system implementation, supporting, and new technologies evaluations.
  4. On-Job Training: You will receive on-job training where applicable.
  5. 24-Hour On-Call Service: You will be required to provide 24-hour on-call service.

Job Requirements:

Technical Analyst (Data Centre):

Requirements:

  1. Higher Diploma in Computer Science: You must have a Higher Diploma graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  2. Relevant Work Experience: Relevant work experience in IT support or operations is advantageous.
  3. Technical Skills: You must have good knowledge in Linux, Windows server, and Network operation.
  4. Team Player: You must be a good team-player with strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
  5. Shift Duty: 7x24 Shift duty is required.
  6. Language Skills: You must have a good command of spoken and written English, Putonghua is an advantage.

Technical Analyst (Infrastructure):

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related disciplines.
  2. Eager to Learn: You must be eager to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  3. IT Professional: You must be passionate in pursuing IT professionalism.
  4. IT Infrastructure Experience: You must have at least 2 years of IT infrastructure support and administration in an enterprise environment.
  5. Technical Skills: You must be proficient in Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating environment and network (Windows 2016 Server, Active Directory, DNS, Windows 10 Desktop).
  6. Cloud Products: You must have knowledge on cloud products like Azure, AWS, and O365.
  7. Language Skills: You must have a good command of spoken and written English, Putonghua is an advantage.

Technical Analyst (Linux):

Requirements:

  1. University Graduate in IT: You must be a University graduate in Information Technology or related discipline.
  2. Enterprise LINUX Experience: With experiences and exposures to Enterprise LINUX and Virtualization platforms are advantageous.
  3. Automation Scripting: Any experience in developing automation scripts such as Python, Perl, Linux Shell, PowerShell scripts are advantageous.
  4. DevOps Automation Tools: Any experience in DevOps automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Jenkins are also advantageous.
  5. Initiative and Innovation: You must have initiative, strong willingness, and positive innovation to learn and to implement new technologies including open-source tools, public cloud API integration.
  6. Team Player: You must be a good team player, strong communication, and collaboration skills are required.
  7. Language Skills: You must be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
