Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Information Security Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise IT security solutions to address our organization's security requirements. Reporting to the Information Security Services Lead, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams, including IT Innovation Lab, software engineering teams, IT infrastructure team, IT compliance, security operations, and cyber technology risk team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Anti-DDoS systems, and web proxies based on identified security requirements in collaboration with application teams and business owners.
  • Manage the lifecycle and asset health of security systems, including installation, patching, upgrading, configuration, administration, uptime monitoring, swift response to alerts and incidents, capacity expansion, accounts, firewall rule recertification, and housekeeping.
  • Support application onboarding and ensure timely deployment of new applications.
  • Manage signature updates, rule monitoring, and fine-tuning for security systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system design, architecture diagrams, configuration, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, incident and problem RCA resolution, and other relevant documents.
  • Engage with vendors and suppliers to manage licenses, contracts, issue tracking, escalation, and regular vendor performance reviews.
  • Regularly assess control effectiveness and operational efficiency, providing recommendations for performance enhancement, architecture optimization, and obsolescence replacement.
  • Continuously improve quality and reduce operation risks through automation.

Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of proven work experience as an Information Security/DevSecOps Engineer and/or application developer.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two among WAF, IPS, Anti-DDoS, or web proxy products.
  • Experienced in web application risk remediation, such as OWASP Top 10.
  • Comfortable with automated deployment tools, e.g., Ansible playbook.
  • Familiar with automated monitoring tools, e.g., Grafana, Prometheus.
  • Strong information security technology knowledge and effective communication skills to convey technical/non-technical concepts to senior management and diverse audiences.
  • Basic project and stakeholder management skills required.
  • Solid knowledge of risk frameworks, such as Mitre ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Relevant certifications, e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CEH, are a plus but not mandatory.
