About the Role

The Associate Account Director has a key role in maintaining the client's stability and influences their potential growth.

The Associate Account Director is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and for the output of excellent marketing/advertising/PR activities and creative strategies.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain client relationships and develop marketing/advertising/PR strategies.
  2. Supervise campaign executions, project management, quality controls, and reporting.
  3. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and our Client's business.
  4. Proactive engagement with client to improve existing services.
  5. Manage and ensure quality of our services to Clients.
  6. Management and handling of key client briefs, projects and requests.
  7. Typical day-to-day management of clients and their requests.
  8. Key person supervising the excellence of projects.
  9. Effective management and interpretation of Client feedback.
  10. Guide/lead Account Managers and Account Executives to implement projects smoothly and effectively.
  11. Support line manager in developing initiatives for new business or extending existing business.
  12. Financial control of billings and 3rd party costs.
  13. Write/proofread major communications materials.
  14. Cultivate high-level contacts within business and industry relations.
  15. Lead major offline activities/events and overall quality control.
  16. Provide account planning and strategic support to key Clients.
  17. Provide Clients counsel in the development of successful customer management strategies.
  18. Lead the team to write integrated communication plan.
  19. Understand industry/market trends and the success factors critical to the organization's long-term sustainability and competitiveness.
  20. Understand the offering of the 6 Capabilities.
  21. Modify proposals based on changing business conditions.
  22. Drive the right Client briefs for internal stakeholders.
  23. Take ownership of the quality of creative responses in conjunction with Creative Director.
  24. Ensure creative team motivation and working processes.
  25. Oversee project briefings (both written & actual briefing) & client approval.
  26. Provide creative judgement.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor Degree with a major in marketing, communications, advertisement, media, digital, public relations, etc.
  • 6+ years of experience in communications or related field; industry experience preferred.
  • Team-leading experience.
  • Excellent writing skills, strong presentation capabilities (proven media relations skills).
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak knowledgably with high level executives internally and with Clients.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a quick learner.
  • Advanced knowledge of working software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
