Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our team in managing resources, maintaining and executing policies, procedures, plans, and systems in all aspects of operational duties for trade fairs and public fairs in Hong Kong.

  • Formulate operation strategies and develop strategic and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Prepare budget forecasts/scenario analysis, coordinate with cross-functional teams to exercise budgetary control, and prepare financial reports.
  • Conduct research, observe industry trends, provide strategic insights, and identify new development opportunities.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of related IT systems.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of event services, including appointment and supervision of service vendors, cooperation with venue operators, and liaison with stakeholders.
  • Implement ad-hoc compliance measures in relation to new policies and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 8 years' solid managerial experience in marketing/business development, with experience in the exhibition industry being a definite advantage.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as fluent Putonghua.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record in operational planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks with tight timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with strong leadership and team management skills.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
