Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely payments, managing accounts receivable and payable, and maintaining the general ledger.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to take on a leadership role in our organization. As Chief Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure accurate and timely payments. Monitor customer accounts, prepare invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and identify any discrepancies.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist in various ad hoc tasks as assigned by the senior accounting team members.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and systems, including accounting packages and bank reconciliation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
