We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Marketing Specialist to join our team at Oriental Tech Executive Search Consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing and a proven track record of success in the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans for technology products sold in the Japanese market.
- Manage product marketing-related communications both internally and externally, via multiple vehicles including internal websites, emails, presentations, etc.
- Conduct market research to identify market opportunities and thresholds, and to map out market space (trends, potential).
- Perform competitive analyses to identify key players in the market, compare competitive product offerings, and develop useful sales input from it.
- Attribute to all stages of the new product introduction process, proofread and validate new product roadmaps, specs, white papers, and formulate clear USPs, value propositions, and ROI calculations for all products and markets.
- Investigate new product sales potential in various markets and channels, and provide training to internal staff and channels on sales product training.
- Presentation: Product/solutions champion at channel events, external seminars, conferences, working groups, press conferences, and press spokesperson.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Information Systems and 5 or more years of experience in Product Marketing in a computer or networking technology company, preferably a multi-national organization.
- Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment, with multiple organizational and management levels and cross-functional departments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven excellence in researching, organizing, writing, and presenting technical information.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, to meet deadlines, and to work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization and planning skills.
- Strong communication skills coupled with strategic thinking and analytical skills essential.
- Native Japanese and good English skills a must.
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong project management skills, written, oral, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage to a budget.
