Job Description

We're seeking a talented professional to join our Modelling and Innovation team, which performs cutting-edge actuarial modeling projects to maintain and develop actuarial models. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in actuarial discussions and assessments to identify financial drivers and practical solutions;
  • Constructing technical specifications and model designs that balance technical robustness and operational efficiency;
  • Carrying out model enhancements and implementing robust change management;
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial results and findings;
  • Presenting project conclusions and recommendations to senior management;
  • Maintaining advanced actuarial models, including deterministic, stochastic, dynamic, and ALS models;
  • Performing regular model validation projects to ensure model accuracy;
  • Assisting in constructing technical responses to actuarial queries from external stakeholders;
  • Driving the use of new tools and techniques in actuarial tasks to streamline processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A university graduate with good progress in actuarial examinations;
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the life insurance industry;
  • Experience with Prophet or other equivalent actuarial modeling software (a plus);
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for career growth and development.
