Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support on various systems, maintaining documentation, and managing change requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support on Calypso and other systems to a diverse range of users, ensuring seamless operational experiences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on operational procedures and technical setup, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Effectively manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams, alongside other configuration modifications, minimizing disruptions and optimizing system performance.
  • Proactively manage incident escalation and resolution, applying problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Set up and maintain system monitoring protocols, responding promptly to notifications to ensure timely issue resolution and prevent potential problems.
  • Implement tactical automation measures to streamline processes and enhance efficiency, aligning with business objectives.
  • Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises and contribute to IT security and audit evaluations, ensuring the organization's resilience and compliance.
  • Lead projects concerning new system and server deployment, applying technical expertise to drive successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in IT, Computer Science, or related fields, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in relevant application support or development, showcasing expertise and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language, enabling effective implementation and maintenance of software solutions.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Linux server commands, and shell scripts, facilitating efficient system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing for effective issue resolution and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), ensuring clear and effective collaboration with both local and international teams.
  • Strong attention to details, guaranteeing accuracy and quality in all tasks and responsibilities.
