Job Description:

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Officer to join their team. This fixed-term contract position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse and logistics operations within the Museum Retail and online team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the supervisor to ensure the efficient running of all warehouse and logistics operations
  • Working closely with the warehouse supervisor to monitor daily operations, including inbound, outbound, stock replenishment, customer order delivery, and storage
  • Supporting overall warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and quality control
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimum inventory to support sales operations
  • Performing order creation in the system (e.g., Sale Order, Transfer, Replenishment, etc.)
  • Coordinating international delivery arrangements with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
  • Preparing full sets of shipping documents for inbound and outbound shipments and preparing Tradelink customs declarations for import and export shipments
  • Preparing monthly reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), inventory, and analysis reports for management
  • Supporting month-end closing and year-end stock take processes and liaising with the Finance team, suppliers, 3PL, and other relevant parties as necessary
  • Liaising with the IT team for system issues
  • Coordinating with external parties, internal parties, stakeholders, clients, and prospects when necessary

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a recognized university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

You should have 2-3 years of working experience in logistics and shipping operations, preferably in retail or FMCG industries.

You should also possess good knowledge of inventory management systems, such as ERP, and be familiar with Tradelink declarations.

A fast learner with a good working attitude and ability to work cooperatively with others is essential.

You should be creative and enthusiastic about innovation and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves when things get hectic.

Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and demonstrate strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail is crucial.

A high level of organization, reliability, and resourcefulness with strong problem-solving and analytical skills is required.

Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is essential.
