**Job Title:** Senior Regulatory Compliance Expert

**Salary:** The estimated annual salary for this role is between HKD 600,000 to HKD 900,000 depending on experience.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance activities in Hong Kong, contributing to regional compliance oversight in Australia and Singapore, and providing professional compliance advice to senior management.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory matters in Hong Kong, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure compliance standards and frameworks are aligned across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Develop and implement proactive strategies to support business objectives while maintaining strong compliance controls.
  • Provide analysis on regulatory implications and risk mitigation measures related to market making and brokerage businesses.
  • Design and implement Compliance Programs to address management points after regulatory inspections.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and changes impacting the business.
  • Conduct regular reviews of Compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Develop close working relationships with regulators, industry peers, and internal stakeholders to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a compliance function covering brokerage activities.
  • Excellent command of English, with good command of Cantonese or Mandarin being a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Proven experience in managing regulatory risks and developing effective compliance strategies.
