Job Summary

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) is a global hotel company with properties located in major cities and four continents under The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts and Ying'nFlo brands. It is the hospitality arm of Great Eagle Holdings, a leading property development company in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage billing logistics to ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices.
  • Update billing information in accounting systems.
  • Collaborate with business partners and IT to enhance and test the billing system.
  • Implement internal controls for accurate, timely and efficient billing and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure revenue assurance, account receivable reporting, monthly statements delivery, data reconciliation and billing dispute handling.
  • Participate in internal/external audits, tax and currency remittance control related matters.
  • Act as the Accounting liaison to other Group companies and business associates.
  • Participate in business administration.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial and non-financial projects.
  • Develop best practices in the Finance Department.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate in Business/Commerce discipline.
  • Professional Qualification – CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Acute analytical skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Open-minded thinking and flexibility.
  • 10+ years in a commercial organization accounting/finance department with 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in financial accounting & reporting/internal controls/audit/tax, commercial contracts.
  • China and/or international experience is a definite advantage.
  • Experience in leading an accounting operations team with a strong background in financial accounting and consolidation management and statutory reporting.
  • Solid understanding of business administration and accounting/internal controls principles.
  • Experience in hotel industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is essential.
