Cash Equities Trading System Architect

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Cash Equities Trading division. As a key member of the team, you will design and develop solutions to optimize front office trading strategies and execution using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the Cash Equities platform, focusing on building out strategic trading and post-trade capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal IT staff to support systems and day-to-day usage.
  • Work with other development teams and project management teams on strategic projects.
  • Work closely with business users for system implementation and requirement gathering.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in IT development for the banking industry.
  • Excellent programming skills in Java.
  • Experience working with Kafka, C#, SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, and ReactJS would be advantageous.
  • Good experience in developing, testing, and maintaining front office trading systems for equities desks.
  • Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
