About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Global Markets Trader Leader to join our team at Bank of China. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our trading group in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the trading group in Southeast Asia, overseeing the management of trading businesses and risks/positions/market making activities.
- Supervise, lead, and train subordinates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Analyze financial market dynamics and provide professional opinions on business strategy adjustments.
- Collaborate with sales teams to deliver excellent services and products to clients.
- Built strong relationships with market participants, understand market trends, and propose specific requirements for credit lines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies, identifying and controlling potential and real risks at work.
- Report to higher authorities and relevant units, formulate corrective actions, and follow up as necessary.
- Execute other tasks assigned by the Head of Trading or senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance or related majors; or equivalent qualifications recognized by the bank.
- Experience in financial product risk management.
- Theoretical and practical experience in financial product transactions, knowledge of product pricing models preferred.
- Familiarity with financial product business processes and regulatory policies.
- Able to operate under pressure and work closely with other teams.
Salary Range: We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
