We are looking for a talented Data Centre Management Expert to join our team in Cyberport Hong Kong. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day data centre management and operations to achieve agreed computational performance, scalability, availability, security and energy efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data centre management and operations, with experience in managing data centre facilities, infrastructure and IT equipment to support high-performance computing systems. You will also have expertise in data centre industry standards, regulations, security safeguards and good practices such as Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ISO27001.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing data centre operations budget, tracking expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation
- Evaluating effectiveness and quality of service delivery, managing relationship with service providers
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting operational and security events and alerts; managing and responding data centre incidents and breaches
In addition, you will assess and mitigate risks associated with data centre operations to achieve business continuity, security safeguard and operational resilience.
