About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Banking Specialist to join our Electronic Trading Platforms (ETP) team. As a key member of our global technology group, you will be responsible for ensuring robust, secure, and high-performance trading environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage the latest technology to optimize trading performance for our clients, helping them manage risk while enhancing the trading infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain trading platforms and systems.
- Develop and maintain configuration management tools, particularly Ansible, to ensure consistency and efficiency in our trading environments.
- Provide expert-level support for Linux systems, from hardware and kernel to applications, to ensure seamless trading operations.
- Work closely with our clients to understand their trading needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.
- Expertise in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux systems, from hardware and kernel to applications.
- Linux (any distribution) engineering/system administration.
- Securities/trading experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting a live trading environment.
- Expertise in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux systems, from hardware and kernel to applications.
- Candidates with Python, Golang, Bash scripting experience are preferred.
- Experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.
- Python programming experience focusing on automation and integration.
- Bash scripting experience.
- Experience managing and debugging production services.
- Some Network engineering/administration beneficial.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently.
