Job Description

Implementing Strategic Initiatives

  • Develop and recommend changes in policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Investor Relations function.

Leveraging Stakeholder Engagement

  • Oversight of day-to-day IR operations, interfacing with HKEX management, existing and prospective shareholders, as well as sell-side analysts.
  • Responsive communication with investors and development of relevant strategies to attract new investors.

Effective Communication

  • Collaboration with sell-side analysts to convey the HKEX equity story and key strategic updates.
  • Proactive management of sell-side analysts' expectations regarding HKEX financial performance.

Market Analysis and Insights

  • Analyzing capital market trends and providing timely updates.

Internal and External Outreach

  • Organizing and participating in external roadshows, conferences, seminars, and meetings to strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
  • Preparing presentation materials for internal and external investor events.

Industry Landscape Monitoring

  • Monitoring peers' business and strategic updates, as well as exchange sector-related industry trends, to produce relevant comparisons and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with a focus in IR related roles, sell-side research, or buy-side research/investment.
  • Prior exposures with good understanding of the capital market.
  • Exposure to Investor relations for a Hong Kong listed company would be an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of financials (a financial qualification would be a plus).
  • Sound business acumen and good analytical skills.
  • Proven managerial skills with experiences in leading team.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to build connections with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
