We're looking for an Actuarial Capital Strategist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with us and make a difference in the lives of our customers and the community.

The Role

As an Actuarial Capital Strategist, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of HKRBC capital reporting. This includes sensitivities, stress capital, budget, and ORSA. You will also manage the financial performance of the company with respect to capital efficiency and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely production of HKRBC reporting, including sensitivities, stress capital, budget, and ORSA.
  • Management of a team of professionals responsible for HKRBC reporting, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback.
  • Sustainability of remittance to Group.
  • Identification and communication of potential risks and opportunities related to capital management.
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders on capital position and ALM initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the insurance industry, with capital management/ALM experience a plus.
  • Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant designations.
  • FSA or equivalent.
  • Strong business sense and actuarial knowledge.
  • Experience in financial and regulatory reporting, economic, and regulatory capital bases desirable.
  • Proactive and attentive to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
