The Role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This performance profile aims to attract a seasoned digital marketing professional with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies that drive measurable results. Specifically, the role will be responsible for achieving aggressive growth targets in organic website traffic, keyword rankings, and click-through rates.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Organic Traffic Growth:
Achieve and exceed targeted growth in organic website traffic, developing new page types that leverage our content and drive increased visibility and exposure in search engine results pages.
Research and monitor competitor SEO performance and activity, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Keyword Rankings:
Increase keyword rankings for targeted search terms and phrases, increasing visibility and click potential within organic search results.
- Click-Through Rate (CTR):
Improve CTR metrics for organic search pages, optimizing title tags, meta, and rich snippets to increase CTRs and drive more qualified traffic.
- Backlink Profile:
Improve the quality and quantity of inbound links pointing to our website, enhancing domain authority and trustworthiness in search engines' eyes.
- Technical SEO Health:
Maintain and optimize on-page SEO performance by leading initiatives targeting site speed, site structure, internal linking, mobile-friendliness, and other factors improving crawlability.
Conduct regular SEO audits and assessments of our website, identifying technical issues, optimization opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Content Engagement:
Increase engagement metrics, such as time on page, bounce rate, and pages per session, which indicate the relevance and quality of our website content to visitors.
- Local SEO Performance:
Enhance local search visibility for our offerings, improving rankings and visibility in local search results and Google My Business listings.
- AI-Driven Optimization:
Research and implement AI-driven and programmatic optimization techniques to improve SEO performance metrics.
The Profile
REQUIREMENTS
- This FULL-TIME ROLE will only suit someone who also meets the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, computer science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in SEO are preferred, while certifications in AI technologies will be advantageous.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that drive measurable results.
- Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passion for digital marketing, technology, and innovation.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics to optimize SEO performance.
