The Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking qualified individuals to join our team. Our department is part of a leading tertiary referral teaching hospital, renowned for its comprehensive acute specialist services.
We are responsible for delivering anaesthetic services for a significant number of surgical procedures annually, including emergency cases. Our Intensive Care Unit caters to a large volume of patients requiring critical care, emphasizing our commitment to high-quality medical services.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess:
- A recognized medical qualification that allows for registration with the relevant medical council.
- Experience or a strong interest in the fields of anaesthesia and intensive care.
- Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Cantonese is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Deliver exceptional clinical services in anaesthesia and intensive care.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as designated by the Department Chairman.
This position offers a contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement and performance evaluation.
