Job Description

The Associate Director of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs will play a pivotal role in formulating corporate communications strategies to build our reputation and promote institutional advancement. This includes leading functions such as media relations, publicity, social media, events management, community engagement, public affairs, publications, crisis management, alumni relations, fundraising, and donor management.

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, students, alumni, donors, partners, and the wider society. You will also provide proactive liaison with the media and offer prompt support to senior management when required.

Requirements
  • A recognized degree
  • Extensive working experience in strategic corporate communications, editorial, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in digital and social media technologies
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and proficiency in Putonghua
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A strategic mind with strong team management skills
  • The ability to lead and manage projects independently and meet tight schedules
Compensation and Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
